Athletic Field Emergency Egress Lighting
SL900-TD14 Model SL900-TD14 UDEC Athletic Field Emergency Egress Lighting System
The Model SL900-TD14 is an emergency egress lighting system designed for athletic fields and other outdoor areas. It makes use of the latest technology in fluorescent material, which produces 50% more light than conventional fluorescent lights. Each system contains (8) lamps operated on a high frequency electronic ballast and will illuminate 15,000 square feet to an average of 0.5 foot candle. Two SL900-TD14 systems, one at each opposite end of an athletic field bleacher, will illuminate the area to an average of 1.0 foot candle during power outages. Upon power resumption the unit stays on 14 minutes to allow restrike of high intensity discharge lamps.

Specifications

Total Light: 10,800 lumens from eight lamps of 1350 lumens each.
Color Temperature: 4100K-cool white-CRI of 85.
Total Lighting Watts: 112 watts by eight lamps of 14 watts each.
Rated Lamp Life: 20,000 hours.
Back-up Power: 288-watt hours from a 24 volt, 12 AH battery pack.
Low Voltage Cut-out: at 20.5 volts an electronic circuit disconnects battery during power outages to prevent battery damage, then reconnects battery when power resumes.
Switching: Less than a second to turn "on" after power failures. Approximately 14 minutes to turn "off" after power resumes to allow restrike of high intensity discharge lamps.
Emergency Lighting: Approximately two hours to battery terminal voltage of 20.5 volts and 80% light.
Lighting Adjustments: Fixtures may be individually aimed by rotating in the vertical plane. Both fixtures may be rotated together in the horizontal plane.
Charger: Dual rate fully recharges battery in less than 12 hours, then switches to trickel.
Input Power: 50 watts at maximum charge. Voltage to be specified.
Spare Parts: Each fixture contains an extra high frequency ballast ready to be connected.

SL1000-TD54 Model SL1000-TD54 Athletic Field Emergency Egress Lighting System
Each SL1000-TD54 system contains (6) lamps operated on a high frequency electronic ballast and will illuminate 42,000 square feet to an average of 0.5 foot candle. Two SL1000-TD54 systems, one at each opposite end of an athletic field bleacher, will illuminate that area to an average of 1.0 foot candle during power outages. Powered from line power, the lights remain illuminated when the field lights are on. During an outage, they receive power from batteries through an AC inverter. A motion sensor detects when this lighting is not required and disconnects the batteries.
